At the dawn of the year, Chinese Giant, Xiaomi teased the successor of Poco F1, Poco F2, which is rumored to arrive in 2021. The developments of the phone are all behind the curtains right now, but that only added fuel to the curiosity and the wait.
With that said, rumors started flying that it might not be a flagship-killer and might get a Snapdragon 732 G chipset, quickly to be dismissed by Anuj Sharma, the Director of Poco India. In a virtual youtube interview with popular tipster Stufflistings, he confirmed that saying, “No, we will not use the Snapdragon 732G in an F-series”. This clearly erases the rumor.
The reason behind this is quite simple. The Poco F series sits above the X-series and is a mid-range lineup. But it also assured to add a flagship MediaTek Dimensity or Snapdragon chipset later in 2021. The company sells a Snapdragon 732G-powered phone in India that is the Poco X3. Poco X3 proved itself to be a value-for-money phone under the range of Rs.20,0000.
Poco F2 Rumored Specifications
