Name & Release Date
Apple’s naming scheme for its smartphones used to be a bit confusing till 2018 with the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR but from 2019 naming scheme for the iPhones were straightforward with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Since there’s no confirmation that the new devices are to be called the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max but this is the only prediction that can be made now.
Due to Coronavirus Pandemic, the iPhone 12 could face delays. The report suggests that the phone might be announced in October which is about a month after the usual iPhone’s launch period.
Design
A Chinese supplier reported that iPhone 12 will look similar to the iPhone 11 with the only difference that the iPhone 12’s edge will be slightly bowed. The new iPhone will feature a significant redesign with a metal frame.
Price
One tech analyst reported that Apple will price the iPhone 12 at $649, iPhone 12 Pro at $999 and the iPhone 12 Pro Max at $1,099. To the pleasant surprise, last year the base model of iPhone 11 costs $699, which was $50 cheaper than 2018’s iPhone XR so the trend may continue.
Colour
Last year the midnight green colour variant of the iPhone 11 pro & iPhone 11 Pro Max sold well compared to the expectations. This year there may be navy blue colour of the iPhone 12 Pro according to XDA developer.
Rear Camera
New iPhone 12 have Front-facing Camera with 3D depth sensing featured with a Face ID for unlocking your phone and authorizing digital payments. Rumours suggest that there will be a new TrueDepth camera system that cuts down on the size of the notch on the front.
Networks & Connectivity
All of the new iPhones in the iPhone 12 models will feature 5G network connectivity and support for augmented reality apps with the uncertainty of superfast mmWave support in all countries.
Exquisite box
Rumours suggests that there will be no Charger or Earbuds in ‘exquisite box’ with the iPhone 12 models instead it will include a pair of USB-C to Lightning cable.
Specifications

Processor
Apple is likely to afford a new A14 application processor with 6 Cores. This new processor is being produced by TSMC on its new bleeding-edge 5nm EUV manufacturing process.
