Tonight Google held its launch event for the Google Pixel 4A 5G and the Flagship Pixel 5, where it announced the new Chromecast, Nest Audio Max along with its Pixel devices.
Now, let’s take a look at the Pixel 4A with 5G:

Display
The Pixel 4A 5G has the largest display in the Pixel Lineup with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (1080X 2340) OLED Display but with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate and a punch hole at the top left of the display.
The Pixel 4A 5G would feature a Polycarbonate Unibody instead of the Pixel 5’s aluminium build. But for a lower price, it is an acceptable compromise.
Performance
Just like the flagship Pixel 5, the Pixel 4A 5G will feature the Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB in-built storage.
Google also talked about the Titan M Chip present in the new Pixel devices, including the Pixel 4A, which is responsible for the privacy of your phone.
Camera
The cameras on the Pixel 4A 5G boasts the same dual-camera setup as the Pixel 5 including a 12.2 MP wide-angle primary camera and a 16 MP ultra-wide. And towards the front is an 8 MP front camera housed in the punch hole.
In terms of camera features, Google announced that its new HDR+ feature would be better than before and Night Mode support for Portrait mode as well. Along with that Google launched three new stabilization modes Locked, Active, Cinematic Pan for stable videos.
Software
Like the Pixel 5, the Pixel 4A 5G comes with the latest software with Android 11 out-of-box and you get 3 years of OS and Security updates as well.
Along with that, Google also debuted the all-new extreme battery saver feature that reduces the power consumption significantly providing up to 48 hours of extra battery life.
Hold for me is Google’s solution to long customer service wait times. It uses Google duplex and call screen features and tells you when the line was picked up so that you don’t need to waste your time waiting.
Battery
The Pixel 4A 5G also houses a 3885 mAh battery along with 18W fast charging top it up quickly. But, it doesn’t support wireless charging.
Price
The Pixel 4A is available with Black and White colour options and is considerably cheaper at $499 compared to $699 price tag of the Pixel 5. But, Google hasn’t as of yet announced when the Pixel 5 would launch in India or even if it will launch in India.
