Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra is available for pre-order from August 6. Both phones will be available starting on August 21.

Samsung’s flagship comes with Qualcomm processor’s in US and Canada but in the rest of the world they Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will ship with the in house Exynos 990 SoC.

Many people have expressed their disappointment because the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 phones are equipped with the Exynos 990 SoC, which is inferior compared to the Snapdragon 865+.

The Exynos 990 has offered inferior performance as well as worse battery life compared to the Snapdragon 865+.

But there is some good news, the Exynos 990 on the Note 20 series might provide better performance than expected according to the tipster called ‘Chun’.

According to ‘Chun’, Samsung is claiming that the Exynos 990 will be more optimized, and improved on the Galaxy Note 20 series, compared to the Galaxy S20 series.

This is not confirmed as Samsung hasn’t talked about Exynos 990 equipped Note 20 devices as of yet, so take this with a grain of salt.

Let’s hope that the Exynos 990 performs at par with the 865+ this time around and doesn’t disappoint like in the case of the S20 series.
