Today, August 5th at 7:30 IST, Samsung hosted it’s Samsung Unpacked Event. During this event, Samsung launched several of its new devices.

Note 20 Ultra Price, Specs and other Details

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is Samsung’s Top of the line Flagship this year and it comes with all the greatest features. It is available in Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze, Mystic White colours.

Design

The Samsung Note 20 Ultra is a very premium phone with a premium price. It comes with a premium glass sandwich design with a stainless-steel frame. It is the first phone to feature Corning’s new Gorilla Glass Victus towards the front and back.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is also IP68 (1.5m for 30 mins) dust/water resistance certified and has the latest much improved the S-Pen with 9 ms latency.

Display

The Note 20 boasts a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED WQHD+ (1440X3200) display with 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. The screen on the Note 20 is HDR 10+ certified and it curves around the sides to give it a very futuristic look to it.

Unlike the Note 20 Ultra is 120 Hz but the 120 Hz mode can only be used at FHD+ resolution, WQHD+ resolution is still capped to 60 Hz. Samsung AMOLED has always been excellent in the past, and the Note 20 Ultra seems to carry on the legacy with a huge display, vibrant colors,120 Hz refresh rate, excellent brightness, and contrast.

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a beast when it comes to performance. It comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+in the US and Canada and the Exynos 990 in the rest of the world. It also packs massive 12 GB LPPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB UFS 3.1 with expandable storage.

The Exynos 990 on the global Note 20 Ultra is a disappointment because it is slower than the Snapdragon 865 let alone the 865+, but in the US and Canada, the Snapdragon 865+ is a welcome upgrade.

Camera

Note 20 Ultra Camera

The Note 20 Ultra packs a capable triple camera setup with a monstrous 108 MP f/1.8 primary camera with 0.8-micron pixels and Dual Pixel PDAF, laser autofocus. To the front, the Note 20 Ultra features a 10 MP f/2.2 camera capable of 4K 60 FPS video recording and excellent quality selfies. Samsung Flagships always have one of the best cameras in the market with some impressive features and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra doesn’t seem to disappoint in that regard.
