Apple Watch Series 6
Apple has announced its best Apple Watch yet and here are its Features:
SpO2 Monitoring
The latest Apple Watch Series 6 has Red and infrared light sensors which detect the colour of your blood, and with the help of complex algorithms, it can calculate the blood oxygen concentration level in just 15 seconds. The Apple Watch keeps track of your blood oxygen data as well.
Performance
The Apple Watch Series 6 comes with the all-new S6 chipset which is a dual-core processor based on the A13 Bionic on the iPhone 11 Pro but optimized for the Apple Watch. According to Apple’s claims, it is nearly 20% faster than the S5 on the Apple Watch 5.
Family Setup
Apple also revealed Family Setup; it allows you to pair an Apple Watch to someone else’s iPhone. It is primarily for your kids and elderly parents if you want to connect to them even though you don’t have an iPhone. All you need is an Apple Watch with Cellular connectivity and setup with the iPhone of your family member, and you are good to go, both of you are now connected.
Colours and Bands
The Apple Watch Series 6 comes with a variety of colors, like the new Blue variant, redefined Gold finish, Metal finish called Graphite, and the all-new Product Red. Apple released several new watch faces for more customization as well.
Apple is introducing a new type of band for the Apple Watch as well called the Solo Loop with no buckles or latches. It is a single piece of silicon that is flexible such that it can slide off and on the wrist with ease. Apple also has the Braided Solo Loop, which is similar to the Solo Loop with a braided strap. Apple has also refreshed its leather bands, and the Nike Apple watch for a much more cleaner too.
Price
The Apple Watch Series 6 is going to start at $399 in the US, but the Indian pricing hasn’t been revealed yet.
Apple Watch SE
The Apple Watch SE is the Apple Watch with the most features people need and a lower price.
Features
The Apple Watch SE has most of the features of the Series 6 like a full-screen display at the front with an always-on display. It also ha the Apple S5 chipset which makes it about 2X faster than the Apple Watch Series 3. The Apple Watch SE has accelerometer, gyroscope and all the sensors present on the Apple Watch enabling fall detection on it.
Price
The Apple Watch SE has a much cheaper price tag at $279 in the US.
