Motorola has launched the Moto G30, and it is soon about to go on sale on the 17th March 2021. It comes in a single variant of 4GB RAM and a 64GB storage variant at Rs. 10999/- in two different colours, Dark Pearl and Pastel Sky.

Display and Build Quality
It sports a 6.5-inch display (approx. 82.2% screen-to-body ratio) and a dimension of 165.2 x 75.7 x 9.1 mm (6.50 x 2.98 x 0.36 in). It weighs around 200gm, which is a bit heavy and does not look very sleek or light, but the weight should be well balanced, knowing Motorola. It has a glass front, plastic back and frame, which also comes with a case.
The colour variants seem to have a glossy cover which could give rise to fingerprint smudges. It has a 90Hz refresh rate with 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 ratio, 269 PPI density. It has an IP52 splash proofing. The power button and volume buttons are on the right, which is easily distinguishable.
Cameras
It has a protruded quad-camera set up next to the fingerprint sensor. It has a 64 MP, f/1.7, 26mm (wide), 1/1.97″, 0.7μm primary camera, 8 MP, f/2.2, 118˚, 1/4.0″, 1.12μm ultrawide camera, 2 MP, f/2.4 macro camera and 2 MP, f/2.4 depth sensor.
It has LED flash, panorama and HDR facilities with the video quality at 1080p@30/60fps.
The selfie camera is 13 MP, f/2.2, (wide), 1.12μm with HDR, and video quality of 1080p@30fps.
Software
It operates on Stock Android 11 OS and is powered by an octa-core (4×2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver) chipset Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon SoC 662 (11 nm) and Adreno GPU 610.
It has also installed an additional security level of Thinkshield. Moreover, the software is clean and does not come with any bloatware besides Facebook.
Battery
It comes equipped with a Li-Polymer 5000 mAh battery capacity and 20W fast charging. It also comes with a USB type C port.
Additional features
It comes with various features such as 4G Volte, Dual Hybrid Sim slot, micro-SD card slot, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, gyro meter, a proximity sensor, SAR sensor and an accelerometer. It has a loudspeaker and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also features an HTML5, Wi-Fi 802, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth 5, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, LTEPP, SUPL GPS, NFC and FM Radio.
Conclusion
The model seems to have a good and well-rounded Stock android phone but it would be interesting to see how it performs against it Chinese rivals. Once launched, it will be easier to delve deeper into its performance and energy consumption tidbits.
