Nothing Ear 1 has been launched and is expected to be available in India from August 17, 2021. The earphones are from UK based electronics brand, Nothing that has been backed by Carl Pei, the OnePlus co-founder. The Nothing Ear 1 is the fresh debutante in the true wireless space. It weighs 47 gms, is IPX4 water-resistant. They are encased in a transparent case that helps you to keep an out in case of loss of it. They are sweatproof too and come with an 11.6 mm headphone driver. They come in white colour.
The Samsung galaxy Buds plus has a glossy case with raised indicators for easy identification. They come in white, blue and black colour. They weigh 40 gms and have a dimension of 70 x 26.5 x 38.8 mm.
Nothing Ear 1 comes with ear tips, a charging case, USB Cable. It has a mic system with three high-definition mics and can connect with Bluetooth version 5. It also has high noise cancellation features with various modes for various environments. They have tap and gesture controls for the earpieces. The Nothing Ear 1 has a 570 mAH battery that is said to last about 34 hours with a charging case and 5.7 hours from earbuds with ANC off (24 hours with ANC on).
The Samsung galaxy Buds plus has an 11 hours battery life with a capacity of 58 mAh. (Lithium polymer). With the charging case, you can get upto 22 hours.
The Nothing Ear 1 is compatible with both Android and iOS.

The Nothing Ear 1 is priced at Rs. 5999/- in Flipkart while the Samsung Galaxy Buds plus is priced at Rs. 8990/-.
It is too early yet to decide which is better amongst the two seeing how the Nothing Ear 1 hasn’t been available in India. Considering the features, design, battery, and price, however, the Ear 1 packs quite a punch and might just emerge as a potential winner here. It is a matter of patience before coming to a fixed decision with the two high-quality earbuds pieces.
