In June at WWDC 2020, Apple had one important hardware related news. In what was termed as a “historic day for Mac” devices, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that the company will shift to its own processors for MacBook laptops by end of 2020. And today is that ‘historic day’. Till now, Apple’s MacBooks are powered by Intel’s chipsets. But now, Apple Silicon is the Future of Apple Macbooks.
The Cupertino-based tech giant said that developers can now get started updating their apps to take advantage of the advanced capabilities of Apple silicon in the Mac. “This transition will also establish a common architecture across all Apple products, making it far easier for developers to write and optimize their apps for the entire ecosystem,” said the company during WWDC 2020 in June.
