Today, on September 15th Apple has announced some new upgrades for the iPad lineup. This year is the 10th anniversary for the iPad series, and Apple claims to have sold 500 million iPad units, and also the iPad is said to be the no. 1 product when it comes to customer satisfaction.

The iPad 8th Generation has the same design as that of the 7th gen iPad and so there’s no point talking about it. What’s changed though is with regards to the internals.
Performance
The iPad 8th gen will come with an A12 Bionic chipset, which has been also seen in the likes of the iPhone XR and the iPhone XS series. The chipset is 40% more powerful in terms of CPU and 2 times more powerful in terms of graphics when compared to the previous generation.
The A12 bionic also happens to come with the Neural Engine on-board, which basically let you use the AI and ML powered apps smoothly.
Accessories
Just like the 7th gen iPad, the iPad 8th gen also gets support for a full-size smart keyboard, and also support for Logitech rugged series of keyboards, along with the usual apple pencil.

Pricing and Availability
The iPad 8th Gen starts at 329 USD, and 299 USD for the student version. The prices are same as the current 7th gen iPad.
