89 Apps Banned, but this time for the Indian Army

Last week, the Government of India banned 59 Chinese apps in India due to privacy and security concerns. Now the government is asking Army personnel to delete 89 apps, including Facebook, Instagram, and many more popular apps before July 15.

This strict rule has been placed to prevent sensitive information from leaking by these popular social media platforms, also due to the privacy and security concerns. The 89 apps that are to be uninstalled by the Army Personnel include the 59 apps which were banned last week.
