Epic Games and Apple are not the best friends right now due to the currently ongoing lawsuit between the two regarding the negotiation of the 30% Apple Tax that every app needs in the Appstore need to pay.
For those of you who don’t know Epic released an update in Fortnite such that you could buy V-Bucks (in-game currency) at a lower price if you decide to pay via the Epic directly bypassing the 30% Apple Tax. This being against the Appstore rules, Apple decided to ban Fortnite of the Appstore. As a response Epic filed a lawsuit against Apple’s 30% cut from every app.
Apple had threatened Epic that the Epic Unreal Engine would be banned from the Appstore if they continue with the lawsuit. But the court had decided that the step was inappropriate and ordered Apple to call back the decision. To more know about it click here.
After banning the Fortnite App from the Appstore Apple had decided to remove the Sign in with Apple option for the Epic Games Account from September 11th.

Good News is that Apple has provided an indefinite extension for the Sign in with Apple support for the Epic Games account after a court order that customers should not be affected due to the lawsuit. But according to Epic Games, “you should prepare your accounts now for “Sign in with Apple” removal.”
