Windows Migration Assistant now supports macOS Big Sur

 

Apple has reportedly updated its Windows Migration Assistant software to incorporate compatibility with macOS Big Sur.


According to iMore, version 2.3.0.0 of the utility offers to assist customers seeking to migrate their data from a Windows PC to Apple’s newest Mac OS Big Sur operating system.

The assistant transfers all contacts, calendars, e-mail accounts, and more from a Windows machine and migrates the info to the suitable locations in macOS. After the completion of the process, Apple advises customers to authorize their Mac for iTunes Store purchases.
