OnePlus did a lot of teasing regarding the OnePlus 9 and the brand new OnePlus smartwatch but it doesn’t seem like that they are done yet. OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will use new charging technologies which will make the phones charge from 1% to 100% in just 29 minutes.
Both the phones will bear an upgraded Warp Charge 6GT wired charging that has slight improvements over the OnePlus 8T’s Warp Charge 65. However, the Warp Charge 50 Wireless will only be available on the OnePlus 9 Pro which will most importantly enable the phone to get a wireless charge from 1% to 100% in just 43 minutes, with the help of the new OnePlus wireless charger. Other new components will include a dual-cell battery, thicker coils.
There is also a third OnePlus 9 model, named the OnePlus 9R, confirmed by the OnePlus CEO. OnePlus 9R is designed to offer most of the premium features of its siblings at a more affordable price tag.
OnePlus 9 series with the OnePlus Watch will be launching globally on the 23rd of March nonetheless OnePlus 9R might be limited to India only. So, let’s for the final launch date with eager excitement to check out if these products from OnePlus will be a hit or a miss.
