Realme has revealed its all-new Realme UI 2.0, which further refines the experience of Realme Ui while adding a ton of features.
Realme UI borrows a lot of features from its parent company’s Oppo’s skin ColorOS 11. It is not necessarily a bad thing since ColorOS has several unique features as well.

Last week on September 14th Oppo released ColorOS 11, and now Realme has also revealed what it’s new UI has to offer.

DESIGN
The design of Realme UI has been refined in its 2nd iteration. The UI looks much sleeker and more Stock Android-like than ever before.
CUSTOMISATION
Most of the most significant Realme UI 2.0 features centred around customisation.
- Users can now pick the colours for the main interface, shortcut button, notification bar and 24 other interfaces.
- Five new Always On Display patterns have been added and now you can also create your own Always On Display pattern.
- Several font tweaks have been added; moreover, you now have control over how thick the font to be.
OTHERS
Realme UI 2.0 has a lot of other features including
- A much upgraded Dark Mode.
- Floating window has been added, making multitasking even easier.
- Digital Wellbeing has also been improved.
- A Private Space for hiding your apps or files has been introduced.
- Realme introduced a new feature Subtitle Stitching which lets you add a subtitle for a screenshot of a video.
- Realme Share for sharing to nearby devices (it is similar to the Nearby Share implemented in Android 11.
SECURITY
Realme unveiled a security-based feature called Security Shield.
It is the combination of all the privacy and security features, which includes
- Call blocklist.
- App permission security.
- Payment service security.
- Android 11 security features.
RELEASE DATE
During the Narzo 20 Series launch event Realme confirmed the new Realme UI 2.0 first would be available to the Realme X50 Pro starting September 24 through early access program. The open beta program will be going live at the end of October, and the stable release will come by November end.
Realme hasn’t yet announced about the release of Relme UI 2.0 for its other phones. We expect it to be announced soon as well.
