Lenovo teases us with its New Concept Laptop + Portable Game Console

This week earlier, Lenovo’s Japanese sub-brand, NEC teased its customers with its hybrid Switch console and a netbook-like laptop.

Lenovo and NEC are currently working on their product concept and named it the “LaVie Mini”. So, there is no guarantee that this will ever make its way to the consumers.

Compact Laptop

  • Support for 4K/ 60fps gaming on an external monitor.
  • 8-inch touch-enabled display
  • 11th-Gen Intel Core-i7 processor
  • 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage
  • An optical touch sensor in replacement of the trackpad.

Additionally, it is  also a Console

If you are a Steam User, then you can convert the LaVie Mini into a similar device with a pair of additional wireless controllers. The external controllers are attached to the sides of the device and are similar to the Xbox Gamepad.

Presence of extra USB ports and an HDMI out port. So, users can attach the Mini to the dock to enjoy their games at 4K 60FPS by easily connecting to an external display.

As it is a prototype device, it may never be able to make it to the consumer market. But One day it will become a future product in the World of Technology., if the concept of hybrid laptop-cum-gaming-console exists.
