The iPad Mini 2021 has an 8.3-inch liquid retina edge-to-edge display, with 500 nits of brightness. Due to edge to edge display, the touch-id is now placed on the power button. The iPad Mini is now having the Apple A15 Bionic chip which is 40% faster in terms of CPU performance, and 80% faster in terms of GPU performance. Thanks to the A15 Bionic, the Neural Engine is also 2x faster than before on the iPad mini 2021.
The Optics get an upgrade! along with support for Center Stage
Like the iPad 2021, the iPad mini 2021 is also having an upgraded front camera with an ultrawide 12mp sensor, which supports the new Center Stage feature on the iPad OS 15. The back camera also has an updated 12mp sensor with f/1.8 aperture and support for smart HDR. Hence the cameras on the iPad mini are quite superior to the previous generation.
