Here are the “3 Key Parts” within the LG Wing that Make it Durable

After many leaks and reports, LG recently launched essentially the most uncommon dual-screen smartphone, the “LG Wing”, available in the market. Now, though the device brings a wholly new and distinctive dual-display design, it comes with a whole lot of durability questions. However, LG says that the device has the required mechanism to maintain the unique swiveling design intact over time.

LG recently launched a dedicated video on YouTube (which for some purpose is unavailable now) to show how the Wing’s superior mechanism will make the device a lot more sturdy than what critics assume.

The Three Key Parts

As per the report, LG highlighted three major elements of the swiveling design which are crucial for the device’s durability. These elements include a piece of dual-spring, double-tracked information, and a hydraulic piston dampener.

LG says that it has run steady and heavy tests on the device in their labs to check out its sturdiness. The testers even opened and closed the swiveling display 200,000 times with the assistance of their automated robots, much like what Samsung did at the time of the launch of the primary Galaxy Fold.

Apart from these three elements, the South Korean giant additionally showed an automated retracting system for the device’s pop-up selfie camera. This feature will instantly put the camera again inside if you happen to drop the device while taking a selfie.

Now, all these sound fairly convincing and may even persuade many potential consumers to spend some large bucks on the device. However, testing the gadgets in controlled surroundings, resembling testing labs, is one factor, and the device in the true world is another. After a number of durability checks, even the primary Galaxy Fold failed, particularly in terms of bodily durability.

So, till the device comes out available in the market and within the hands of the end-users, the questions on its sturdiness will stay. We simply must see if LG can overcome them with the launch of the “LG Wing” later this year.
