A document was leaked from inside the Googleplex, which was then reviewed by 9to5Google, and it brings some very exciting news about Google’s plans.
The document contains codenames for various devices and their estimated launch dates. It mentions the launch of the launch Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 in October and then moves on to 2021.

In 2021, the first device to launch in Q2 2021 has a codename “barbette”; we suppose it is the Pixel 5a. Up next, we have three more devices to launch in Q4 2021. Two of these devices are codenamed “raven” and “oriole,” which are most probably the codenames of the Pixel 6 and 6 XL. The document also mentions a device codenamed “passport” which is referred to as a foldable device.
This leak sheds light that the flagship Pixel 6 will be launched in Q4 2021 next year and the budget Pixel will be revealed during Q2 2021. It is relatively obvious because Google has been maintaining this schedule for Quite the last two years.
The surprise is the Foldable Pixel. Google has designed Android to support Foldable devices natively; now, Google has also decided to join the Foldable Phone party. We don’t have any idea how Google is planning to design the Foldable Pixel or any other detail about it, the only thing we currently know that it exists. It would be interesting to see how Google implements its hardware and software combo for the Foldable Pixel.
Stay tuned for more updates about the foldable Pixel, Pixel 6 and a lot more.
