Apple launched the iPad Air (2020) on September 15, and it is the first time that an iPad has gotten the latest silicon from Apple rather than an iPhone.
Recently, Apple A14 benchmark scores have popped up which is most probably a pre-production model benchmarked with GeekBench, thus revealing the performance of A14 Bionic slated to be powering the 2020 iPhones.
According to the leak, The A14 CPU gets single-core and a multi-core score of 1583 and 4198 points respectively. It is about 18% and 20% upliftment in single and multi-core performance respectively compared to the A13 which power s the iPhone 11 lineup.
In terms of single-core performance, it seems to be ahead of the rumoured score of 1159 of the new Snapdragon and Exynos processors.
However, in terms of multi-core performance, it is near the multi-core score of both the Exynos (4250 points) and snapdragon (4090 points) Chipsets.
