It’s been only two weeks since Samsung began selling the Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) and a few early customers have already begun noticing touch screen issues. According to a number of user experiences on Reddit and Samsung Community Forums, at least the first batch of the Galaxy S20 FE has high-quality control faults.
“A section of the top screen is not responding (or very laggy) and the swipe down seems to happen automatically when touching elsewhere. The issue was for about 5-10 mins after taking off charge (two days after unboxing!),” wrote a consumer on Samsung Community.
So far, Samsung hasn’t officially responded to the claims of customers. If it is a widespread issue, it might have an effect on the goodwill and popularity of the Korean giant. The challenge will most certainly disappoint Samsung’s loyal followers because the Galaxy S20 FE is a ‘Fan Edition’ smartphone.
Samsung might simply launch an OTA update if a software bug is the basic cause of this issue. If the hardware is causing the device’s display to malfunction, the corporate shall be left with no choice other than recalling models and compensating affected users.
If you’re dealing with these issues in your Galaxy S20 FE, the chances are, your phone is still in the return period. You might either ask for a refund or a replacement based on the place you bought your device from. Do not forget to tell us within the feedback if you’re dealing with any points with your Galaxy S20 FE.
