Nokia hasn’t been quiet for most of 2020 it seems at least until now. Nokia is now breaking the silence by announcing an event on September 22nd at 4 pm GMT (9:30 pm IST).
Chief Product Officer Juhi Sarvikas tweeted to “Mark your calendars!” for Tuesday, September 22nd. He explicitly mentioned the announcement of new Nokia smartphones in the event, along with giveaways and “a very special guest.”
Nokia was bought by Finish company HMD Global back in 2016 and was brought back from the dead. Since then HMD Global has been producing Smartphones under the Nokia brand with Android One promising 2 years of major software updates and 3 years of security updates.
Nokia could be launching at least two to three of its smartphones and a few of its feature phones during this event. It must be the launch of the rumoured Nokia 8.3 and perhaps the flagship Nokia 9.3 as well. The last Nokia Flagship, the Nokia 9 PureView was launched back in early 2019 so a new Flagship form HMD Global is long overdue. But there isn’t any confirmation so take all the information with a grain of salt.
So stay tuned at Tech2Stop for latest updates.
