The weekend is upon and Verizon has updates prepared for a few of its prime phones. The Samsung Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and OnePlus 8 that it sells are all grabbing new software.
From the changelogs that Verizon shared, it’s looking like all updates are minor and mainly simply include safety patches. The Galaxy S20+ and Ultra pages point out both May and June patches in addition to system and performance enhancements. The OnePlus 8 page talks about performance enhancements along with improved safety.
The new builds are as follows:
- Galaxy S20+: QP1A.190711.020.G986USQU1ATEC
- Galaxy S20 Ultra: QP1A.190711.020.G988USQU1ATEC
- OnePlus 8: IN2019_15_200521
It also looks like the Motorola Razr and Moto G7 Power are getting updates too. Those new builds with June’s safety patch are:
- Motorola Razr: QDVS30.106-27-2
- Moto G7 Power: PDOS29.114-134-15
To download, head into your system Settings area and search for the “System updates”.
