Nokia shuts down manufacturing plant as workers checked Positive for COVID-19

Nokia’s Tamil Nadu telecom gear manufacturing plant had been urgently shut down after a number of workers were examined positive for COVID-19.

The final decision for the closure of the plant was announced the previous week after 42 staff members of Nokia’s Sriperumbudur plant close to Chennai were examined or tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
