The hot topic for years has been Apple trying to launch self-driving cars. Now the rumor seems to reach a peak in the past few weeks with more stress in the battery department. The latest news is that Apple is in talks with South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai and we can expect Apple’s self-driving car by 2028.
The report is not so appealing till now but Hyundai’s statements throw light on Apple’s plans for self-driving cars. According to a spokesperson, Apple is in a brief discussion with various automakers including Hyundai.
Apple cannot single-handedly produce their own cars compared to all other top self-driving car companies. Automobile Companies are struggling to fight against each other to be Apple’s chosen partner for this plan. No confirmed news has yet come about how successful will Apple be in producing their Million dollar plan.
Apple is busy with its battery innovations for their cars. Ming-chi Kuo (Analyst) issued warnings as the hype is going out of hand regarding their plan and due to these rumors, the market shares are rising at a fast pace.
Kuo enhances what they expected on how early they could launch their self-driving car by 2025 or even 2028. He is expecting the company to rigorously focus on Battery and AI including offload production.
