During his keynote speech, Mukesh Ambani introduced his four ideas that will help India in the digital revolution. He believes India is one of the best digitally connected nations and 5G is the next step. However, India has been delaying the 5G spectrum auction.
Ambani said that the government needs to put major policies into action to accelerate the development and deployment of the 5G network across India.
“I can say with utmost confidence that 5G will enable India to not only participate in the fourth industrial revolution but also to lead it”
said Mukesh Ambani in his speech.
The other 3 ideas talk about connecting over 300 million underprivileged individuals across India,
Jio Platform’s role in the technological advancements,
and the thought that India could serve as a major semiconductor manufacturing hub in the future.
Mukesh Ambani noted that the 5G services from Jio in the coming years would be “testimony” to the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat Program.
The Jio 5G network infrastructure, is completely made in India, and that’s a really big achievement, that we all should be proud of.
