After Mi 11, Xiaomi is going to unveil its second Snapdragon 888 5G-powered flagship smartphone series in China next week. The Redmi K40 series will launch on February 25, as confirmed by the corporate. And now, as is often the case, Xiaomi has begun teasing the key features of the upcoming Redmi K40 Pro.

In an official Weibo publish, the corporate has revealed the camera design of the Redmi K40 series. It’s fully according to the latest leaks when the device was noticed on TENAA last week. The camera module carries the text “AI Triple Digicam” with two giant sensors (108MP main sensor) on the top and back. The LED flash and laser autofocus are positioned above.

Additionally, Xiaomi has formally confirmed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset will power the Redmi K40 series. The leaks, however, recommend that only the Pro variant will embrace the Snapdragon 888. The vanilla Redmi K40 variant is rumored to have the recently unveiled Snapdragon 870 SoC onboard.

Furthermore, Redmi has also shared a video teaser on Weibo that reveals the Wi-Fi 6 capabilities of the Redmi K40 series. The device can achieve as much as 3.5Gbps download speeds, which is nice. However we’re more excited about the fact that the units will feature a high refresh rate display with a centered punch-hole at the top.

Redmi K40 will come with a 4,500mAh battery whereas the K40 Pro will come with an even bigger 5,000mAh battery. Stay tuned for more info.
