The release of Windows 10X has been delayed by the company.

Microsoft suddenly went silent about its Windows 10 update which was expected to be the biggest windows release this year. There is no more news about the Windows 10X operating system. According to sources, it was heard that the release is pushed back to the second half of the year. The dual-screen Surface Neo was supposed to be debuting with Windows 10X but later Microsoft revised its roadmap and tried to make 10X a target affordable device, like low-cost enterprise PCs and laptops, and focus on a single screen experience instead.

Win32 software support won’t be available for Windows 10X. Windows is trying to sell the idea of using remote desktop access to fill in the need for that kind of software which might sound good for enterprise scenarios but could be a problem for schools where competition with Chrome OS and Chromebook were expected. In order to have a more polished operating system, the launch date for Windows 10X was delayed, and also Microsoft is hoping that the delay will lead to a smooth release for Windows 10X. Let’s wait for a while to see what the company has to offer to us.
