The Government of India has finally broken silence over the relaunch of PUBG Mobile in Inda, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology stated that permission for the launch of PUBG Mobile in India had not been granted.
It seems millions of fans all over the country who are waiting in anticipation for the game need to wait even longer.
The Government revealed that it did not grant any permission for starting any websites/mobile apps/service in reply to two RTI queries by MediaNama and GEM Esports.
The development comes after the Indian Government banned PUBG Mobile and 118 other apps during September this year over national security concerns.
Since then PUBG has gone through several changes, PUBG Mobile has registered under Ministry of Corporate Affairs and has shifted to Microsoft Azure for its servers. But, the Government of India isn’t convinced by the changes made according to the statement.
Those who were hoping for PUBG to come back can look forward to FAU-G which will soon be launched in India.
Earlier, it was reported that PUBG Mobile was supposed to come back to India before end of this year, but one can’t expect PUBG Mobile to return before March 2021.
