October last year, Microsoft revealed that it would expand the Xbox badge to mobile gaming accessories. Microsoft is trying to get into mobile gaming with the help of its Project xCloud streaming service.
Due to the Pandemic situation, there haven’t been any gaming conferences until now, thus Microsoft has decided to unveil several new additions to the Xbox mobile Gaming accessories this morning in a blog post.
The latest entrants into the line up of Xbox Mobile Gaming accessories are from reputable brands like Razer, SteelSeries. All of the products are available for pre-order from today onwards ahead of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Launch on September 15th.
The majority of the Xbox mobile Gaming accessories are controllers. There are several factors like latency which makes a controller difficult to work with mobile devices and it seems Razer, PowerA and 8bitdo’s controllers have been able to resolve the problem for designing the controllers for Project xCloud streaming service.
Razer Kishi and PowerA MOGA XP7-X Plus controllers have been launched at $100, whereas the clever mini 8bitdo comes at a cheaper price of $50. PowerA and 8bitdo also provide smartphone clips to connect to the Xbox Controllers, priced at $15.
SteelSeries has also launched the $100 Arctis 1 headphones specifically designed for Project xCloud streaming service such that it can switch between console games and mobile devices seamlessly.
