According to reports, Microsoft has officially discontinued Xbox One X, One S digital edition before the launch of the Xbox Series X. Microsoft spokesperson stated that they are stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition to ramp up the production of Xbox Series X.

He also added that they have no plans to halt the manufacturing and selling the Xbox One S right now. It is most likely; Microsoft thinks that there already is enough supply of Xbox One X to last until Series X is launched.

There have been recent reports of Xbox’s going out of stock. In the US, the consoles are out of stock or labelled as discontinued on most retail stores which include stores like Target, Amazon, and even the Microsoft Store itself.

In the UK the situation is pretty much the same; most of the retail stores are out of stock only a few third-party vendors have some consoles left in inventory as of this writing.

We checked whether the Xbox One X or One S is available in India and surprisingly they are still in stock at the time of writing on Amazon India and Flipkart. We speculate that Amazon and Flipkart have only a few consoles left in stock and will be available as long as the stocks last.

Microsoft has announced most of the details of the next-generation Xbox Series X and is supposed to come out later this year. But the price and day od availability of the Xbox Series X remains unknown. Microsoft will be announcing Xbox Series X Exclusive games next week on 23rd July.
