The tech world is about to notice one such war of Rivals fighting over the domination in the Smartphone market. After the inspirational stance of PM Modi, Micromax announced to launch the new IN series (short for India) to magnify the patriotic sentiment in the China-dominated low-cost smartphones with smartphones starting from Rs.6999. To top that, now Lava has also shared its launch date for its new smartphone in India through its social profiles. the launch date is announced to be on 7th January.

Lava Mobiles has officially announced the launch date on 7th January through their official Twitter handle, which says “The day when smartphone industry will never be the same again” with hashtags #ABDUNIYADEKHEGI #PROUDLYINDIAN referring that Indians can be self-sufficient and the world will see it.

Although the short video teaser posted only revealed the launch date. The details and specifications of the upcoming smartphone are yet to be announced. Recent reports like recent reports are implying Lava can launch four new smartphones priced between Rs.5000 to Rs.20,000 to attract all economic bases of the Indian Market, as we Indians are quite skeptical when it comes to price-performance ratio.

The company recently launched the new Lava BeU in India, especially for women keeping in mind the safety and fascinations of women. the special feature of it is the in-built safety app for the protection of women. Also, it is crafted with the Rose bink back cover, crystal-studded camera deco, floral speaker mesh, and a diamond-studded finish to suit the love for beauty in women. it is equipped with an HD+ display, Unisoc SC9863A processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 4,050mAh battery for working ladies and a 13 MP+2 MP dual camera set up on the rear and a single 8 MP for beautiful selfies. All these just for 6,888 only.

Lava is now looking to contribute to the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Just like Micromax, it will give users a choice between homegrown and an abundance of Chinese smartphones in the Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 20,000 price bracket. It will be quite interesting to see whether Lava will be able to match the price-to-performance ratio offered by its rivals.
