AMD’s Ryzen 3000 series was a massive hit, and now AMD has launched the Ryzen XT series in India.

Here’s what we think of AMD’s new products

Ryzen 5 3600XT

The Ryzen 5 3600X is almost identical to their last year counterpart. It has the same 6 cores and 12 threads based on 7nm Zen 2 architecture and a TDP of 65W just like the Ryzen 5 3600 but the only difference is its boost clock which is 100 MHz higher at 4.5 GHz. The Ryzen 5 3600X is priced at Rs 19,990 in India.

Ryzen 7 3800XT

The Ryzen 7 3700XT is also an 8 core and 16 thread 7nm Zen 2 CPU like the Ryzen 7 3700X. The difference lies in the boost clock speed is 4.7 GHz which is faster that the 3700X clocked at 4.5 GHz. The Ryzen 7 3700XT has been priced at Rs 30,990 in India.

Ryzen 9 3900XT

Just like the Ryzen 5 3600XT and Ryzen 7 3700XT, The Ryzen 9 3900XT is nearly identical to the Ryzen 3900X apart from the Boost clock which is at 4.7 GHz instead of 4.6 GHz on the 3900X. In India Ryzen 9 3900XT has been launched at 38,990.

Conclusion

Overall, it is an incremental update to the already impressive Ryzen 3000 Series. We think it is not worth it for the people looking to upgrade from Ryzen 3000 series CPUs, but for those who are looking to buy a CPU for your brand-new PC or upgrading from 1st generation Ryzen CPUs these are not such bad options.
